Autointoxication occurs when a poor functioning bowel creates problems in other areas of the body. A toxic body results in a sick body. When a bowel is underactive, or not working properly, more waste stays in the body. The waste accumulates on the walls of the intestines and the toxins are absorbed through the wall of the intestine and travel throughout the body. These wastes destroy cells, place excessive stress on the organs, and cause digestive problems. When the body becomes overwhelmed by these toxins symptoms such as fatigue, bloating, gas, headaches, skin issues, chronic pain, poor circulation, inadequate absorption of food and much more can result. A body overburdened by toxic waste does not have proper oxygen to their cells and does not have the energy to heal. In addition, a dirty or slow bowel can hold onto very large amounts of harmful bacteria and parasites. Currently parasites kill more people each year than cancer.

What causes autointoxication? A poor diet and lack of proper, periodic purification. A diet high in carbohydrates (refined sugars, breads, pasta, and white potatoes) has been linked to colon cancer for years. More recent research is linking Alzheimer’s disease to higher consumption of carbohydrates and sugar as well.  In addition, lack of exercise, excess stress, inadequate water intake, and exposure to toxins such as sugar and tobacco are also largely linked to poor bowel function, autointoxication, and an increased risk of many diseases.

“One autopsy revealed a colon to be 9 inches in diameter with a passage through it no larger than a pencil!  The rest was layer upon layer of encrusted fecal material.” – Dr. Bernard Jensen

“Another autopsy revealed a stagnant colon to weigh in at an incredible 40 pounds! Imagine carrying around all that morbid accumulated waste.” – Dr. Bernard Jensen
